Infants

Birth is an intense experience for Baby.

Whether Baby came topside vaginally or through a C-section, quickly and easily, or after an exhausting labor he/she likely experienced twisting, torquing, compression, and/or spinal cord traction at the least.

And now Baby and you are trying to figure. it. out.

For Baby, CST can help to:

  • realign tissues that were upset during birth

  • improve digestion (colic, reflux, etc.)

  • balance sleep capacity and rhythms

  • support nursing, including tongue- & lip-tie revisions

  • support or resolve plagiocephaly (flattening of the skull on one side)

  • relieve torticollis (a problem involving the muscles of the neck that causes the head to tilt down)

See the previous “Postpartum Support” for how CST can support Mama.

It’s particularly beautiful to conduct a CST session with Mama and Baby on the table together.
