postpartum Recovery

Birth is a traumatic experience.

Not because it’s bad, but because it’s INTENSE and it takes a mental-physical-emotional-spiritual toll on your amazing body.

Even if you had the most beautiful birth experience imaginable, you brought a watermelon-sized being into the world through your body.

And before that you were pregnant! You’ve been sharing all of your energy with another being for nine(ish) months, and it ain’t over just because Baby is topside. It’s okay to feel like you need some love!

Craniosacral therapy helps restore Mama’s capacity.

This is your fourth-trimester.

Your care and recovery is just as important as Baby’s care and development.

For Mama, CST can support healing your

  • tummy muscles & organ placement

  • pelvic floor

  • appetite

  • emotional center (including relieve postpartum depression

  • Cesarean recovery

  • new body discomforts associated with the carrying and care of a newborn infant

  • grief if your birth experience didn’t go according to plan

If you’re having nursing issues it can be particularly beautiful to conduct a CST session with Mama and Baby on the table together.

***I would also like to honor that postpartum includes women who have experienced stillbirths, spontaneous (miscarriages) or voluntary abortions. These can also be a traumatic, intense experiences. And your body deserves just as much loving care. I’m here for you.***
